Not sure, but the email says they want responses by June 15th to see how many people are still interested. Maybe there will be another round of emails after? -

I just got an email from LA! I was accepted into Loma Linda last month and since that's the post bac and masters together I decided to accept, but if it was between LA and Fullerton I would go with LA- I've just heard better things about the program. -

Did you accept to Fullerton or are you still waiting? -
I'm starting Loma Linda this fall and don't get the impression that it's just medical based. You do clinicals in 5 different settings to get a full feel of what you would like to do. I personally do not have an interest in working at a hospital or in a medical setting but know this is still going to be a great school for me even though I plan to work with children in a school. They're very willing to answer all questions and are super helpful. Good luck!

What state are you in? I'm also terrified of the GRE because of how tough and tedious it is. I'm in california and found some schools that don't require it- CSUF, CSUSM and Loma Linda University (where I was just accepted!) So there is hope! Also, I heard many time that the GRE is not your final say in grad school. It's worth a try to study and take it, once you get it over with I'm sure you'll feel relieved.

Loma Linda University Question
kristenflowers replied to crystal6's topic in Speech-Language Pathology Forum
this is late, but did you end up going to Loma Linda for the transitional masters? I was just accepted and I'm so excited, but I'm also worried about the cost. Do you feel it was worth it? And what was your schedule like? I'm curious if I will be able to have a job during that first year. Thanks! -
I just got my acceptance to csuf post bac as well- you have two weeks from the day your letter is posted to accept. I contacted CSULA and they said "applications are being reviewed" right now, who knows how long that will take. I've also heard that csuf is very compacted and takes more than one year to finish BUT that they favor their own students more than chapman might. My friend did chapman's post bac and was accepted to their graduate. She loved it! But it pretty much consumed her life. Best of luck in whatever you both decide!

Congrats on being accepted! If you don't mind me asking: did you get a letter in the mail, an email, etc? I applied and never received anything so I assumed I wasn't accepted. But this morning I received an email for a mandatory meeting for newly accepted students. I'm so confused if I'm accepted or not! -

From my understanding you can apply as a non-degree seeking student or go for your second bachelor's with USU. If I'm not mistaken, you can get financial aid only if you're applying for your second degree -

Thanks! That's great to know that I still have a solid back up in case I'm not getting accepted anywhere else. I've heard the USU program is great, I'm just nervous about taking online classes. Let me know how you like it once you start, I'm really interested to hear more about it! -
I've read about every thread for acceptance into the Master's Program (and congrats to you all!), but I'm sitting on pins and needles here wondering if I'm ever going to hear back from any of the schools I applied to for my post bacc. I applied to CSUF, CSULA and Loma Linda. I'm thinking if I don't hear anything by mid May that I will apply to USU if I'm not too late. But I truly prefer a classroom setting because I just learn better this way. Has anyone received acceptances? Rejections? Anything from schools you've applied to? I would love to hear from you!
