  1. We had our Dysphagia course this semester which definitely helped mediate all of the paediatric classes! I love London. Having done my undergrad in Sudbury, ON it is definitely a bigger city for me. It's a fantastic place to live, and the campus is beautiful (although we aren't on the main campus very often-we are across the street). I ended up finding an apartment last-minute. Not the location I would have wanted. Definitely would be worth checking out the grad residences since they are right across the street from school!
  2. I have really been enjoying it so far! Definitely a lot of work, but worth it because you learn SO much! The classes have been very "child heavy" so far, and I am interested in Adult Neuro, so it has been a bit of a challenge. We don't take as many of the adult classes until 2nd year. We are just finishing up our first clinical placements right now which has been very exciting. You start your first placements in January of your first year at Western, so that is a bonus!
  3. Good luck to everyone waiting to hear from Western and U of T tonight! I am in my first year of SLP at Western, so feel free to message me if you have any questions
  4. Thank you! I had completely lost hope, so don't give up yet! I called right at the beginning of April and all Janet could tell me was that I was in the top half of the waiting list. Hope that helps
  5. I know this is a long shot, but is there anyone who didn't get into SLP going to Lambton College for Communicative Disorders Assistant??
  6. Still waiting to hear from Western...I hope that they aren't done calling!
  7. I really hope that they don't wait that long! How did you hear that we would have until the 29th??
  8. Does anyone know when the Ontario schools will start contacting people on the waitlist? I would assume it would be tomorrow-ish since that is when the offers expire. Has anyone had experience with this?
  9. Hahah thank you for the heads up! This is good news for me! and Congratulations to all of those getting into U of T!
  10. Just heard officially that there are 60 people on the waitlist. So at least our odds are somewhat okay?
  11. Yea good point! haha do you know how many they normally put on the waitlist?
  12. Ok perfect! I have been in contact with Janet in the past. She wasn't very specific with my waitlist spot, just said top half
