I was just lurking here and thought I would mention that acceptances are sent out one by one. So if you haven't heard anything yet, don't freak out. Congrats to some of you!

I spoke with someone in American's SPA Admissions Office yesterday, and they said that merit aid decisions would be going out this week via email and postal. So that narrows your wait a bit.

Kabutar, Princeton is small, but I wouldn't necessarily call it "dead." RE: Syracuse v. WWS - Too early to tell. LOL!

I have a number of friends who are currently in the MPA program. They all enjoy it, but the workload is intense. You will probably spend many a nights in the basement of Robertson Hall. (I know I did when just taking summer courses there.) As far as nightlife, have you ever been to Princeton? I am pretty sure the only chain establishments in the city proper are Starbucks, Panera, and CVS. Everything else is locally-owned establishments, which is great, but it is a small town. My friends hop on the train to New York and Philly often. There is also a bar on campus just for grad students.

Got a message from a friend who is a second year.....decisions go out on Friday via email. Accepted Students Open House on April 10. And the wait continues....

I am just wondering if anyone else has worried about the possibility that all the Open House/ Accepted Student Day visits for your top choices will all fall on the same weekend? Not saying I will get into any or all of these schools, but I already know that the Ford School's Spring Preview is April 9-10 and the Harris School will hold Open House on April 9-10 as well. Based on last year's postings, the Kennedy School preview might also fall on that weekend. Luckily, the Maxwell School has a couple of different ones to choose from. Just wondering if anyone had similar worries. Only a few more weeks until March 15....

I was just wondering if anyone else was waiting to go complete at Harvard Kennedy? I told myself that I wouldn't get nervous until Feb. 1, and now the day has come.
