I share @grad_wannabe's sentiments on not re-reading the SOP. I for one have been able to suppress the lure of doing that as I feel my research interest wasnt detailed enough and I fear reading it over may just show how clueless I was explaining it in the letter. Its so hard writting a SOP of just 500 words as you will definitely leave out some vital details that may have swunged the decision in one's favour. All in All, the wait is terrible, one more week of this and I will make a nuisance of myself to the Admissions department.

Wow..Congratulations. On topic, I just did something I promised myself I wasnt going to do but finally gave-in as a result of the anxiety that comes with this tedious wait; I emailed my POI about the status of my application which reads 'Being Reviewed by the Faculty' and he responded with a rather casual "Thanks for the update"..Does anyone think the reply was too casual and does it suggest denial or am I looking too much into the whole thing?

It gets even painful when you are in an entirely different continent and time zone. Usually, I have to wake up in the middle of the night to refresh my mail and check my application page on the school website hoping a decision has being made.

Hi, This is my first post. Applied to Lethbridge for MSC and still waiting on the admission decision. Although I must say, its not been easy even when I know I wont be getting a response till late February or early March, I still cant resist the urge to check my application page about 10 times everyday.
