So apparently, they admitted 6 students for PO. Somehow they later figured out a way to pool money from MIT

Hey congrats! Just wanted to ask if you were in contact with Dr. Bitz before applying to UW? I might have to apply again next year lol if I don't get into my choice of schools.

They ended up admitting 2. I work at WHOI and have credible sources

Haven't received word from other schools still! Should I be buckle up and wait for a barrage of rejection letters now or what..

As far the MIT/WHOI is concerned, they sent out all admits Friday 2/12

So it's not over yet? One of my buddies got an offer from UW Atmospheric Sciences last week, and I was wondering if they had sent out all acceptance emails.

This is me staring at my mailbox every day for the past month.

Congrats on hearing something from WHOI! I hear PO has funding for 1 student this year. LOL. My chances are down to zero for the Joint Program now, and that rejection from UW Oceanography was quick too!

Did you apply to the Climate Ocean Atmosphere Program? If so, when's the Open House? I'm still waiting to here from them and getting really anxious!

Has anybody heard from Scripps (Climate Ocean Atmosphere Program) or Yale (G&G) yet? I guess the Yale departmental open house is 5-6 Feb. I haven't heard back from them!
