  1. I also visited Radford this fall and they look a lot at GPA and GRE but also do consider other factors. However if you have a strong GPA and GRE I doubt a lack of extra curriculars would prevent you from an acceptance.
  2. I visited UVA this summer and the professor flat out told me they base their decisions off of GPA and GRE only... However, their website says something completely differently but I would trust the word of the professor over the website which probably hasn't been update in a few years.
  3. Was originally waitlisted but just accepted to my top school so will be removing myself hope this helps others waiting!!
  4. Just received an acceptance at 5:58pm!! Very excited, however no mention of funding which is a huge factor for me so I'll have to wait and see if I receive anything from here or anywhere else. Stay positive everyone I definitely wasn't expecting this today!!
  5. Congrats!!!! I heard the email said this is the first round of acceptance so Im praying I get one in the near future, safe to say Ive gone into panic mode this afternoon.
  6. I know Eastern Kentucky is a M.A.ED degree, its a 6 semester program (summer, fall spring, summer fall spring) but you get licensure to work in all KY schools
  7. Does anyone know anything about Jacksonville University? Their was two cohorts and one application was due til March 1 and another March 15, does that mean they will have two classes? I sent mine in in Decemeber so waiting til June feels like an eternity!
  8. I would definitely choose school B which gives you free tuition with no work. I see the graduate students at my undergraduate university right now who work 20 hours for GA positions running around like chickens w their heads cut off haha. This decision almost seems like a no brainer to me! Grad school will be a huge adjustment with extensive course load and clinical hours the least amount of stressers you have to add to that equations the better! Either way though congrats to you for having both these opportunities in front of you!
  9. I think I will call tomorrow, just to be safe. And I submitted everything before the new year!
  10. I don't know too much about La Salle's program but I do know two people who are in and neither had anything bad to say about it when I told them I was applying. The only concern I could tell you is that its not in the best area of Philadelphia, definitely something you might want to consider. Commuting from a different location in the city is always an option.
  11. Im just seeing this thread now and freaking out because Redford is my #1 pick! I never received the email about being reviewed, and I never received and email with a login name and number. However, I did receive the email about assistantships/GA in late Feb, and I received the email about the open house (which I RSVP to and got a response). Do you think this is a need for concern as it seems they have my application or I wouldn't be receiving those other emails. I was thinking about calling tomorrow and asking about the login ID at the very least?
