Anyone want to claim that WUSTL acceptance? I'm waiting to hear from my POI and was just wondering how you found out?

I have the same message. I'm assuming waitlisted too, but I'll let you know if I hear anything from the school or POI.

Anyone want to claim the Yale interview? Yale is one of my top schools( shocking right?) and I haven't heard anything from POI or the school about interviews. I also went for a campus/ dept visit( invited by my POI) before I submitted my application since I live close by. I'm not sure if they wouldn't invite me for an interview because they have already met me and heard about my research ideas, but it still has me worried.

I'm with you @EvelynD! I was getting comfortable with my 2 rejections( they weren't top schools anyway) and then boom, rejected from another school. I can only hope that my interview goes well and keep my fingers crossed for my remaining schools. No news is good news right?

Thanks everyone! We're all in this together.. it only takes one acceptance right? I've got 7 more schools to keeps my fingers crossed for. Anyone have any ideas about University of Illinois UC? Based on the results from previous years they are set to send out information any day now and that just makes me check my email every 5 mins sadly. Also, for anyone applying to Colorado Boulder, they are gathering to look at applications next week!

Just rejected from UCSB. It definitely wasn't my top choice, but the first rejection stings man. I'm set to hear from UIUC and the wait is killing me...

One of my good friends is in that program, she loves it! When I do Skype interviews, I always try to research my POI there as much as possible and it probably wouldn't hurt to research the department too. Definitely be yourself! I'm not sure about any specific advice for this program, if you want, you can DM me and we can talk a little but more. Hope it goes well!

Thanks everyone, I'm very excited! Does anyone know how many WUSTL usually take each year? I've tried looking around but haven't found anything. Sorry to hear that @marxistglue but it's still early in the application season! We, unfortunately, have plenty more anxious days to come!

I can claim one of those WUSTL interviews! Got an email from my POI asking to set up a time for a phone call, and I thought it would be a phone interview, but she invited me for a campus visit. I was shocked, and very excited because I haven't heard anything else from any other programs and the silence is getting to me.

Thank you Solala, still haven't heard anything but I guess I'll just have to keep waiting...Is anyone here applying to the NYU masters program too? Anyone know when they usually send out notices?
