  1. I ended up being waitlisted in the 16th position.
  2. Yeah it's all relative I guess ya know? Where I come from in Connecticut is right on the Long Island Sound and its pretty beautiful, but we all get sick of home - and I was definitely ready for a change! Love it out here. Happy I can stay for school =)
  3. My last name starts with N.......maybe you are right hahahahaha
  4. Yeah I'm in the same boat. I called the office and they said that Credential Admissions are the people to talk to about if they are sending these acceptances out in waves but - they are impossible to reach by phone so I am not going to hold my breath. Assuming rejected....at least I got in somewhere!
  5. I saw one person received notice but I haven't heard either. Was interviewed a few weeks ago.
  6. As someone born and raised on the east coast who just moved here to go to grad school - if you are in your 20-somethings and looking for a place to live thats fit for our age group and has an endless list of things to do outdoors.....there's really no better place. Portland especially still boasts a cheap cost of living compared to most major cities and sits in one of the most beautiful spots in the country.
  7. I would imagine if you were interviewed you will get a phone call - if not accepted probably an email.
  8. Where in CA are you from? There are certainly parts of SF that do not feel like Downtown. The SFSU campus is way closer to the quiet suburb areas....definitely not as condensed as the rest of the city. But yeah, cost of living is astronomical. I was just scouring craigslist for apts in the area for fun a minute ago. Just a fucking ROOM in one of these places is close to 85% of the cost of my entire apartment in Portland right now. It really doesn't make any sense at all to leave here if that's the case.
  9. Yeah I am in between them and PSU right now. I really loved the staff at SFSU and their autism program is perfect for me - but I already got accepted to PSU can get in-state tuition next year through them. Plus I already live in Portland, just moved hear last September from Connecticut so I am prettttttty sure that it will be hard to say yes to SFSU if I get in. Cost of living in the Bay is just too crazy. Guess depends on what they offer me if they offer anything at all. We will see.....
  10. wow really, I wouldn't hear back until after April 15th? I got into PSU in their first round of acceptances and so I have to respond by that date exactly. That sucks. I liked the idea of going to that school but I can't possibly wait that long for an offer if I'm going to school at all!
  11. No problem! I applied to like 11 schools and have so far only gotten into Portland State. SFSU is another top choice for me so I am excited to hear back - though cost of living sort of makes the whole idea pretty unattractive unfortunately. If I get in I'll have to make a tough decision! Their autism program seems really incredible and their staff were SO nice at the interview, I couldn't believe it. Very relaxed environment, I dug it a lot.
  12. I've seen several people post their acceptance to this school but I have yet to hear anything. I called about 3 weeks ago and they said they were doing multiple rounds of admissions......so maybe I'm just being inpatient......
  13. I was told by the secretary yesterday that al decisions will be made by the end of next week.
  14. I called yesterday and they said they will have all decisions for interviewees by the end of next week.
  15. Hey, do you have a link or a list of schools off the top of your head that take applications in the Spring? I'm still waiting to hear back from 6 schools but I'm being very pessimistic and planning for the future in case I don't get in anywhere.
