I would think that the more field experience you can get the better. From my experience,advice from LCSW/MSW's/professors, etc those in social work do not so much care about where you got the degree but more about the hands on experience.

Agreeded! I was most proud of getting into SDSU then any other school. I have heard such good things and I love the campus.

Thank you! Same to you, I loved everything SDSU had to offer, I just wish the commute was more do-able for me or I would be there with you! Yes, I agree with you that it seems like LA is very popular with the MSW degree but there is so much competition for placements there too I have heard from friends. I have an interview in a few weeks with CWS at Balboa office so I am hoping to meet some other SD MSW students there. Congrats again, SDSU is a great accomplishment!!

Hello, I am a little nervous about my upcoming interview for the title iv-e full time stipend program. I was told that it would be a panel interview, at child welfare services office and given a few things to read before and that is it. Anyone who had done this in the past year have an idea of what questions or what the process is like-my interview is the end of the month. I am starting the full time program this fall. I have an interview for my practicum site next week already, and it is for MHS so I am hoping that is a good sign to go along with my title iv-e interview. Basically, any feedback or advice would be appreciated! Thanks!
