I've only received an email and once I accepted the decision they sent me my LORIS information entailing an email and it appears as though a lot if not of all the information and correspondence needed will be on there

I havn't received anything from UofT yet but considering I was wait listed last year and I doubt I got in again... I decided to officially accept my Laurier offer today! Super excited and nervous to begin this next step in my career cannot wait to meet everyone else in the Fall. For everyone still waiting my fingers are crossed for you!

Is there anyone following this forum that can give me some information on what Laurier's two year MSW program is like? Also this may sound silly but are there exams? I vaguely remember someone mentioning there was not...

I believe it was over 800 applicants for 140 positions. Don't hold me to it though lol

I got into Laurier. I had an 82 in my last year and 80 overall average. But i had over 10000 hours of experience paid and unpaid in the social service sector. I worked full time and volunteered throughout my whole undergrad and I've been out of school for 2 years. One more year of experience and you will definitely get accepted! Laurier appears to put more emphasis on experience than grades. Toronto is definitely more research grades than anything. Due to my 76 in my third year research methods course I was waitlisted last year and still have yet to hear this year

Hey all I was rejected from york via their website on March 31. I was accepted to Laurier via email at 7:45am on April 1. Still waiting to hear from UofT. Toronto is my number one and I was waitlisted last year but never heard anything after that. I'm trying to remain hopeful for this year but I can't complain because I was accepted to laurier already.
