Thank you...Hope you hear more good news as well, sykora25. I don't know when they will send out the rejections. Last time I checked, they said they'd let us know by March 15, but it seems things have sped up a bit since then.

I claim the Columbia acceptance on the results page. To say the least, I'm extremely happy. Good luck to yall~

I applied but haven't heard back from them. If you search past postings, you'll see that they released their decision pretty late in past years. I really wish they'd let us know soon so I can decide where to go.

Funny, I considered myself outlier because I didn't contact any of the professors at UPenn, mainly because the professor I admired the most had been on a sabbatical. As for myself, I worked for a good nine years before coming to grad school - yeah, I'm pretty old. Attended a non-US university and also had lowish GPA. However, I think I had great recommendations from professors I worked with, and tried to emphasize that, although I've worked for the last 9 years, I'm passionate about research. Another Princeton reject here...why this enormous feeling of relief?

Not knowing whether I'll survive this weekend without hearing from any school (applied to seven), here goes, -All three of my recommenders are TOP profs in TOP schools, and at least two of them even called colleagues in the schools I applied to! -Am currently a full scholarship student at a top grad school -My essay is extremely strong, or so said everyone who read them -Have nearly a decade of work experience doing extremely interesting projects -Mum, who passed away earlier this year, is lobbying hard on my behalf to get me in.
