  1. I know of one person who heard yesterday. I should hear tomorrow or Friday, according to the USPS map lol. Last semester I applied to ENMU and K-State. Waitlisted then rejected by ENMU, rejected out right by Kansas State. I took every bit of Dr. Swift's advice, got my GPA up to a 3.8, retook the GREs, and am taking 2 grad classes through ENMU.

A tip: If you like ENMU CDIS Program facebook page, they post when the letters go out.

Anyone else hear anything today? Good luck!

I haven't heard back yet! Oh, that makes me nervous! Lol what were your scores/GPA last year if you don't mind me asking? Do you know if they pay a lot of attention to the essay?

  2. Yep, I just wanted to add some more info on a school that I happened to inquire about already. They don't always say on the program's page if there is a cut off when a lot of times there is. I just happened to already talk to someone on the admissions committee and thought id pass along the info to save someone the time of sending an email.

I've spent countless hours on ed find, and still I find that grad cafe is very useful in determining where to apply, and hearing what other people know about the schools is very helpful.

  3. I've seen a list of some schools that accept for summer term, but I can't find it now and Im not sure when it was posted, so I thought I'd start a new post! I'm thinking about applying for summer if I don't get into any of the schools I've applied to for spring so I'm trying to get a head start on researching more schools! So far these are the schools I know of:

    university of central florida

    Valdosta

  4. No offense to you in particular, but I cannot figure out why people with your stats come on this forum and are honestly unsure if you have a chance at grad school! You have basically a 4.0 and your GRE scores are way above average, PLUS you have relevant experience. YES, you will get in somewhere! Its the people with 3.0s and GREs in the mid 140s who have reason to be wondering.

Dont be so nervous, just apply to a bunch of places and be confident in yourself, youll get in!! :)
