yeah, I think only those obvious applicants get acceptance this early. The rest will be coming in in waves from late December to Early Feb.

I have not heard from any other schools yet considering the deadline for most of these school was yesterday.

I got accepted by Notre Dame on 11/30 and by U of Florida on 12/5 I think. very excited !

Admission representative at Vanderbilt University told me that they are doing rolling admission and will offer based on first come first serve. You might want to email the programs that you are applying to get more specific answers.

Thank you for your input, do you think removing this 4th letter would be a wise choice? Three of my letters come from professors that I have done research with and this one come from my boss/ professor who I took a class with and later become a TA for that class. I put him on the application because he can comment on my ability as a TA.

Hey guys I am wondering about the number of letters that you can submit. Most schools require 3, but I have 4. Does it really matter if I submit one extra letter?

Hello fellow 2016! Nice to see some fellow applicants. I read over your post and I think that it's pretty good with all the research experiences. Your GPA is your only problem I think but you can take the subject GRE to balance it (if you can do really well on the subject test). Like Akash suggested, I think you should apply to Purdue, they in fact have the number 1 ranking in Analytical chemistry (if geographic location is not ur main concern). I visited them last week and I have to say their campus is amazing. OSU and IU are also top choices for analytical. Pretty much anywhere around that area is pretty good for Analytical.
