Did you have to pay a deposit for U of A? I got the same responses as you but haven't accepted yet.

Anyone know when orientation and the first day of classes would be for U of A? I just got an email with more info for the PhD program and they said that the deadline is May 1st to apply but they'll accept applications after the deadline, there's just less of a chance they'll consider you.

Congrats! What time did you get it? It seems kinda late on a Friday night to be sending out acceptances.

I also received this email and I'm in the same situation! Hopefully this means more good news to come!

I emailed U of A in 2014 and they said they had 220 applicants that year and accepted 57 of them. That is a big jump in number of applicants if that is accurate!

From past years it looks like Dal sends out all their acceptance emails in one day and then the waitlist emails a week later, so they should be sending out their waitlist emails next Monday the 21st.

Does anyone know if Dalhousie usually does multiple days of emails or was today the only day?

It doesn't seem like any McGill acceptances were sent out today? What do you think is the latest they'd call?

They say they accept 27 students. It's worrying me that there's been so many acceptances today. I'm hoping for another day of calls for us!

I'm feeling the same way! I'm in the top quarter of the alphabet and didn't get a call. Although I realized I never put my phone number on my application and just put it in later today so I don't know if that makes a difference. I'm guessing they'll call tomorrow too.

That's really annoying. It's almost like they did that on purpose...
