I think that is a possibility. Hopefully, they'll get it together by the end of the week, but I do know that they were delayed last year with notices, too. Remember that the person who predicted that notifications would be made by today at the latest was the new DGS - I think he underestimated the complexity of the process.

No word yet. Unsurprisingly, academics are not the best administrators. Compounding this reality is the fact that Notre Dame is on Spring Break this week, so the faculty are geographically scattered. One final factor in the delay may be the pending availability of University-wide fellowships.

Notre Dame's M.Div. is fully funded, well structured, theologically substantive, and pastorally/spiritually formative. Most, but not all, students are Catholic. Lay students share classes and some formation with seminarians.

Did anyone apply for the Ph.D. at BC's STM? If so, have you received word from them?

Totally makes sense - I was just curious. I am in a similar situation myself. I did apply to multiple programs, but leaving where I am for another program would be difficult and maybe, in the end, unfeasible. I didn't mean to sound snooty or judgmental; I was honestly just asking. I wish you the best with Emory.

Why would you only apply to one program?

They may have said they are considering folks they aren't interviewing, but that doesn't seem likely. I applied (Theological Studies) and did not get an interview. I have not heard anything, but it seems like I the news will not be good. Any insights from anyone?

Is OPUS also for PhD apps?

I, too, applied to BC, but for Systematics. I have not heard anything. I do know one person who applied to ethics that was accepted on Saturday (2/13). Has anybody heard anything about Systematics? I also know that the BC STM has three offers out, which I think would fill their capacity.
