We definitely are. But I was referring to the fact that, according to the e-mail I received from IHEID, they still have several applications to go through, while you said that all decisions have already been made.

I wouldn't necessarily agree with you, as long as @AndrewM keeps himself kinda low-profile and humble. I mean, if he just says that he got X internship with Y institution that mainly deals with 1, 2 and 3, I think it wouldn't make him seem desperate. Rather, they may want to evaluate it positively in terms of candidate's good foresight together with the great opportunity coming up for him. Different reaction would be caused if he claimed the duties he'll be assigned to or the skills he'll gain, given that, as you said, he hasn't already completed the internship in question. However, I believe it is too late anyway for turning things around: les jeux sont faits.

They e-mailed me back saying that we may have to wait until next week, and that all depends on when the AdCom finishes going through all the applications - which contradicts what @El pichichi asserted on the subject, actually.

The Institute just confirmed we got to wait until next week for the final notifications to be released.

Makes sense. I am wondering if this means that some applications will be considered this week, or it is just a matter of bureaucracy-related reasons, and all the decisions have already been made.

Unfortunately, no. We were supposed to get both of them in mid-December, but apparently, when they shift admission notifications to mid-January, they also postponed scholarship decisions to March (supposedly, mid-March), as you can see in the follow-up module.

And here we go... IHEID reopened, and notifications are freaking approaching. Pretty excited/scared/eager/whatever

The regular notifications were released on March, 20th last year, which was a Thursday. But you're right, I think the 11th is a little too optimistic I am curious: what's your current job?

Thanks, @AAAAAAAA. That's why I asked @El pichichi. If he got the news from the same whistleblower who told him about the mid-December notifications, I'd doubt it too. The point is that I, as everyone here, am starting to feel the notifications are approaching. And the idea that they may come out in twelve days, well it shook me up a little

Where does this news come from?

As far as scholarship goes, there are only two mandatory documents to upload: the motivation letter and your tax certificate. There are other document, though: parents' tax certificate, spouse's tax certificate, salary, savings, annuities, investments, scholarship you received in the past - this is the complete list you will see in the uploading documents section of you application once you will pay the application fee. Although they are not mandatory (meaning marked with *), you may want to upload them anyway so as to provide them with the most comprehensive picture of your financial situation as well as that of your family.

Actually, once you fill in your referees' names, they will automatically get an e-mail from the Institute with the instructions to follow in order to upload their letters. The deadline for you referees is January 22nd if you apply by the regular deadline - January 15th. Hope it helps!
