I've been interviewed from UTAustin (international applicant). But I think it depends on specific schools and programs.

I'm an international applicant. I've been interviewed from some of those universities (Austin, UCI). I receveid an offer from UCI for PhD.

I also applied for a PhD to Columbia (csphdapplicant123 and grump) but for now no news. However, I had interviews with TAustin, Michigan, UCI.
