I submitted in late November and it said "Received(official)". Did you send/mail in an official copy? I thought you only need to send in an official copy when you're accepted, but as long as your application status says "complete" you're probably fine.

I just saw that you applied for Cornell plant bio. Did you get the pre-interview skype call?

Well welcome to the club many schools are going to release invites by early jan so we only have like a month to go... BTW, your application looks pretty solid and I bet you'll get a bunch of interviews

UCSD Biology is reviewing applications this week - interview invites probably will be out before Christmas :)

Hey, thanks for sharing your experience with application and also grad school I'm just curious about what do you mean when you said people were lying in their personal statement... What was the mismatch in person that was so serious that you do not wish they were in your program?

I will start my job hunting if I didn't get any interview invites by ... probably late Jan? And yea probably apply again, but I really don't know how much I can improve my profile except my GRE verbral score... so hopefully it works out this year!!!

I tried and it was a little too depressing. Now I'm just listening to Ed Sheeran and playing this game... lol AND 2 hours had passed. I talked to people on adcomm and they told me applying to too many schools is actually frown upon.... But they also understand that people want to make sure they are actually getting in somewhere
