  1. Hehe I got HM writing a proposal for the school I ended up accepting
  2. You get access to supercomputing infrastructure too (XSEDE)!! Now we need to use XSEDE to help get a paper out and then write about it the next time we apply
  3. Congratulations!
  4. HM! VG/VG, E/VG, VG/VG. No negative comments! (LOL) Still can reapply next year. Hopefully I'll have another paper by then and some more outreach activities.
  5. Well, I applied with a proposal related to a project at the school I ended up accepting It would be great to win it (but definitely not holding my breath, lol) So no for me
  6. Hmmm...interesting. Seems to be back up now. Oops! @Bookworm349810 just caught that
  7. Congratulations!!!
  8. I second this (I had graduate-level biophysics, biochemistry, and microbial genetics courses with literature components). This is excellent advice.
  9. Just confirmed Emory MMG (+ fellowship)! Definitely the best fit for my research interests (bacteriology and antibiotic resistance). Good luck to everyone making decisions!
  10. So glad to have completed all these wonderful interviews! Getting pretty close to a decision here. Now on to waiting for the GRFP
  11. Just got my first acceptance to the Case BSTP!! These interviews are indeed less stressful than I expected - more discussion about science than grilling. Best of luck to everyone!
  12. Microbiology (especially bacteriology). How about you? Developmental biology, I presume?
  13. OMG!!! Pitt IBGP and NIH OxCam on the same day!!! Just have to figure out how to coordinate these interviews
