Got rejected from Indiana University a few days ago...it was my top choice so I was pretty bummed Anybody still waiting to hear back from UNC Chapel Hill? They're the only school I haven't heard back from and it's been over 2 months since the application was due. Congrats to everyone else that's received good news!

WOW. I'm really sorry for anybody this affected, that must have been terrible. I know I'd be pissed. Claiming a SUNY Albany acceptance today. Not one of my top picks but yay choices~~~

Got into Bowling Green State University yesterday! Got an e-mail of acceptance with a notification about funding to follow.

Just got my first rejection from The Ohio State University I didn't get any notification, I just saw it on my routine daily check of the website. It was one of my top choices but it's not all bad because I got in somewhere at least.

Congratulations @mm3733! I saw someone got an interview for Indiana University at Bloomington and now I'm a bit nervous because that's one of my top choices. Hoping to hear from them soon as well.

Hi everybody, This is my first post on here after lurking here for weeks so I'll quickly introduce myself. I'm applying for PhD programs in Sociology. I applied to Ohio State University, University of North Carolina, University of Maryland, Indiana University, SUNY Albany, and Bowling Green State University. I'm really interested in Social Psychology, Family, Life Course, and Identity. My undergrad GPA is a 3.59, but my major GPA is a 3.97 (I thought I wanted to go to nursing school so I've got some really hard science classes bringing me down a little bit). GRE scores were a 159 V, 161 Q, and 4.5 AW. Onto the good news...I can claim one of the acceptances into University of Maryland! Got an e-mail from them a little while ago with a link to the official letter. I'm so excited! Looking forward to chatting with you guys a bit as we wait for our other schools to get back to us. Good luck to everybody and congratulations to everybody that's already been accepted too!
