i think it is today.. id ont' think people would screw with us that much, and it makes sense since it matches with the patterns we saw. it is possible were hearing in 12 minutes.. can you believe that? but like @Shlee467 said, its not for sure, and we could wait until next week.. which would be horrible!

The Ed.M. online submission and materials received deadline for fall 2016 enrollment has now passed. Master's decisions will be made available online in late March 2016.
why is this on their website... it can't be late march right???

ah i think we are hearing today.. if youve been following the posts people have said theyre calling accepted students next wednesday.. therefore we should hear today, since email notifications come out before then it should be today..

I applied a while ago! I sent it in 11/23 i think and it was definitely ready for review by 12/3. I also think it really varies by department because @Heather1011 applied after me but heard back a week earlier!

BTW, it never said "under review".... I was refreshing it ALL DAY, no change, and then at 5:10 PM EST I received an email telling me to check the website (was on my way home from work so had the agony of sitting on the subway for 40 minutes hyperventilating).I'm not sure if this is a "know before you read it thing", but when I logged in my page looked exactly the same except there was a "View Your Decision Letter" and a "Complete Your Decision Form" button, so I thought the second button was probably a sign before I viewed the decision that I was accepted, because if you're rejected there probably wouldn't be a form button to complete. Just a thought on that.

You're probably right, although I though @nrvsandexcited94 is a masters candidate (fresh out of college?). Although I like to believe that they are concurrently going through masters students... I mean, it is the faculty of each program that reviews the applications, I assume... and not all of them have to be looking at PhD candidates....
@TheMonkeyOnMyBack hi! I am a masters student applying for language and literacy at HGSE and penn gse. my document was a transcript update of my fall 15 grades. I think they probably got mine out before christmas since i technically submitted on 11/23. my final rec just didn't come in til 12/3. I think they are going through both! i am at week 4 and a half though excluding christmas so I have been obsessively checking!

I saw that the master's acceptance rate is about 50%. Does anybody know if acceptance rates vary between master's programs? If so, any idea about L&L?

I don't believe this is true! Mine has said Ready for review since 12/3, and i emailed them a week ago to add a document but they said they couldn't because they already sent my application out for review. So I don't think that changes! Hopefully I will get a response soon...

Hi! I've been following this thread for a while so i thought I would join. I am applying for a master's in Language and Literacy and I am straight from a top 5 liberal arts undergrad. Is there anyone also looking at the same program and has an idea of its acceptance rate?
