  1. I would recommend looking for ways your current experience relates to your field and putting that into your applications and resume. Keep looking through forums and discussions for tips and information about schools, and use your network! Friends, family, classmates, and professors can all lend a helping hand. If you are looking for more ways to stand out, there's a great article here, http://www.vidcruiter.com/blog/2013/06/27/tips-on-how-to-write-a-winning-resume/ , that relates more to a resume, but can definitely lend itself to applications and reaching out to schools. Hopefully that helps!
  2. I haven't had a video interview with NYU, so I'm not sure the content of the questions would be, but I can give you some video interview tips. I've had a few video interviews lately and I would recommend dressing professionally head to toe, in case you get up, and definitely look at the camera, to make eye contact, rather than looking at the screen. I've found this article really helpful: http://www.vidcruiter.com/blog/2013/06/07/tips-for-a-successful-video-interview/ As for the actual questions, hopefully someone else on here has some experience with NYU, otherwise I recommend just doing a quick search. Hope this was helpful!
