Don't take it to heart. They are probably busy or don't know the answer to your question. This is the peak time for admissions at almost every institution in the nation. I know it's hard after you've already felt the sting of rejection but try not to over analyze every little thing.

I am on the PhD Admissions Committee at my univ. and even though we only admit a small number of students each year, we still don't have the time nor inclination to check anyone's internet presence. We rely solely on the info in the admissions file and the personal interviews to make our determinations.
