I'm a non-native speaker of English with a UK degree. I can waive the TOEFL test according to Caltech. But my Caltech application website still shows "awaiting" (in comparison, my Yale shows "waived"). Would this be an issue so that the application has not even been sent to the admission committee? Does Caltech require something like a form of waiving English test? Thanks

sure I just got the invitation today. but I didn't mail my official transcrips earlier on. They just reiceived it one week ago I think I'm international P.S. I also never hear anything from MIT. but this might also because of the transcrips

yup hope for the best. maybe this year just more people are willing to enter their offer in the gradcafe survey page, so the number of offers we have seen does not really matter

I am organic. I had a few rounds' email conversation with my POI throughout September. But from Oct on wards we didn't continue the catch up. I even didn't inform him when I sumbit my Caltech application. I regret that I didn't... Past results show that we can still expect it to send offers next week, in terms of the timeline. But the number of offers indicate that they almost done with sending offers... I start to mentally prepare to attend Princeton

She just said I was invited for interview. She thought I was still in UK and asked me if I can go to London in Mid Jan during her meeting in London. I told her I'm now in Singapore. Then she said we will have Skype interview. She will be in touch with be "when new year comes". This conversation was on 21 Dec. After that no more update...

My POI at Scripps contact me one month ago to inform me that I was invited for interview, and she will be in touch with me for Skype interview schedule when the new year comes. But we still haven't schedule the interview...
