Sorry, maybe I wasn't being clear. I don't mean they're submitting their picks for acceptances, I meant they're submitting a list of students they would like to interview to the department on Tuesday. Your POI may be one who isn't doing interviews on February 1st, so s/he wouldn't need to worry about that deadline.

Can the individuals who received invites from SFU and Ryerson PM me their POI? Just wanting to make sure if I was still in the running.

Heard a rumor from a friend in the Ryerson program and she said that some professors are submitting their candidates on Tuesday and the department will e-mail out interviews. This is apparently for February 1st, they're doing an interview day or a visit day or something. Some people will be interviewed earlier (i.e. in January) while a lot of applicants will be interviewed for the first time on February 1st.
