I saw today my sjsu account changed to accepted:classified graduate. I was accepted to the program last Tuesday. Not sure when I will be receiving the letter though

I can give you my email in private msg as soon as I find how to send it on this thing...haha. BTW, I checked my SJSU account and it has been updated to ACCEPTED: CLASSIFIED GRADUATE. You might want to check yours, if not it should come in soon!

Interesting, mine has yet to be updated. I emailed director just to make sure, he said I should hear from university soon though At least I have peace of mind he received my intent to enroll email.

HI @LoveMSW2016, i know they have a bulletin outside the social work office with some scholarships posted. I was planning to stop by sometime this week to take a look. My coworker is also giving me some info about them. Once I have those I can pass on.

I also noticed that yesterday. I am not sure why since I read they had over 500 applicants. Maybe not alot of them were interested in online program. I actually warmed up to online, it will be quicker and you are only taking two classes at a time.

Hi all, Just wanted to let you know I got my acceptance for the online program today!! I am beyond excited and honored!

That's awesome to hear. I read on different forum they are accepting 110 for campus based and 50 for online. Didn't think they would notify all 160 by the end of March.

Haven't heard anything yet :/

Alright, seems like we should be hearing something this week...for some reason I have a feeling they will still give out acceptances up to early April.

When I called last Friday, there is no waiting list.. But not really sure how their whole process works

I hear you, I've been doing the same thing but you never know we might be surprised. I noticed previous yrs there has been more posts. It would've been nice to know who got accepted and their stats.

I don't remember filling out a financial aid app... I have to admit I'm getting a little anxious. I just want to know if I got in or not already!

Hello, I haven't heard anything yet. Not sure about financial since I didn't get message. Maybe it's a god sign for you I called in Friday and was told that if I don't hear by end of March to give them a call back. Seems like they are trying to admit everyone by end of month.

Um, nah! Not willing to be THAT much in debt. With reluctance I put I was willing to do the online program at SJSU. Although that online program is def competitive when it comes to pricing.

It is also the only school I applied to, kinda wishing I applied elsewhere too. I wouldn't know how to appeal but it's not a bad idea. Most likely they will only let us appeal our grades. Let's hope we don't have to though!

Yea, it would be my last 60 units. It's not as competitive as the others. But I've read in other forums about others getting in even without a stellar GPA. So there is still hope for us! Let's stay positive

I called a while back just to confirm they had received all my application info and the gentleman told me I should be hearing end of March/early April as well. Let's see what happens. By your info @MSW2k16I'm assuming they are giving priority to everyone with great GPA's and statements. I could be wrong. Thank you for the info! It's very helpful I have over 4 yrs of experience in mental health but I'm certain my GPA is playing a huge factor especially when compared to some of you here. I'm still hopeful though.
