Yeah I know, but I heard some of UT subfields give some informal notification in advance to the official date. just like what result poster have been given. So, i was wondered about poster's subfield and so on.

It seems like UT (Toronto) has notified their informal acceptance yesterday, at least to some of them according to the result page. Can anyone claim this?? I also applied to UT, and there was none of the phone call/email... and application page still says "under review"

YES It really was. I'm seriously considering emailing to POI at UNC and U of Chicago DIV. If I'm out of the game, that means I don't need to prepare the interviews; because the rest doesn't have interview session.

Congrats! Although i didn't get any interview offer at Duke Ph.D. (modernity subfield), I'm happy for you! Disappointment hit me so hard, but I guess it's time to move on

well well well... nothing happened for me yesterday. I feel relief, but I'm a little keyed up at the same time about Laodiceans' news .. Well, it's gonna be a long day BTW, I saw the posting (from the result page) mentioning phone interview with POI from Chicago Divinity on 26. Can anyone claim/confirm that? s/he was on the subfield religion In the Americas, PhD

Did anyone get the call or email for interview from Duke (Dept. of Religion) yesterday? Based on some comments mentioning hits from Durham, it feels like some admission-related contacts from Duke may have been made yesterday. So, anyone?? And do you have any infos about UNC interviews? Last year's UNC result say that there was an interview with the finalists, and the notice was made around this time... (I didn't get any...) BTW, this waiting time is really exhausting... More than anything, this time zone difference makes me sick.. there is a 14 hour's difference between U.S. east and Seoul time. When the office starts their work at 9 am, that is 11pm for me. Thus I don't sleep so good because some admission decision could be delivered during sleep. Same cycle, same restless night- up and down all night - for 3 weeks. And I always find myself frustrated in the morning checking my 'empty' mail-box. I know we’re all in the same situation, I really hope you all get good results in the end. And I'm really thankful to those giving precious information on what's going on with admission process. Thanks!

Hello all, I'm an international applicant for a Religion & Society ph.d. programs in US. I applied to Duke, Harvard, University of Chicago, UNC at Chapel hill, Princeton U, Boston University. So far I haven't heard back from any school. But I've checked there was some admission-contacts from Duke committee last week in page 2 posting and gradcafe result. Does it mean that (although my subfield is different from theirs, and I'm an International applicant) there is a fairly high probability of me being rejected? It is already Friday and still no mail from Duke. It's so disappointing... Duke was my first choice..
