I accepted an offer to attend the OB/HR program in the College of Business at Florida State University (my top program)! I wish you all the best of luck with the process and hope our paths cross somewhere down the line (preferably at a conference bar with a reasonable craft beer selection).
I accepted an offer to attend the OB/HR program at Florida State University (my #1 school), so my process is over. I wish everyone luck and hope you all find a great home!
So far I have been accepted at 2 Ph.D. programs, had in-person interviews at 3 other schools (2 of them will be extending offers next week), waitlisted at 3 other schools, and one rejection. No update on 4 applications.
My scores were
157 Verbal (74%)
158 Quant (71%)
4.0 AW (56%)
I am applying with my Master's, a thesis and 4 first-author conference presentations, so I think that may have helped.
Has anyone received interview invitations or offers from Washington University in St. Louis (WUSTL) or North Carolina State (NCSU)?
I checked the results search and have not seen any offers or interviews, but, wanted to check the board.
I had an on-campus interview at UCF Management last week. I am scheduled to for in-person interviews at FSU OB/HR and VCU Management (OB/HR). Still haven't heard back from Alabama or Auburn Management. I received an offer from the University of Tulsa I-O Ph.D. last week.
I am applying to OB programs, Management programs with OB faculty, and I-O Ph.D. programs. I have scheduled phone interviews for UCF Management, Florida State OB/HR, and Auburn I-O. So far those are the only three I have heard from.
Hello, I was wondering, is some (secret) generally accepted ratio most graduate programs use to determine how many initial phone interview they will give per spot available in their program?
I am applying in the I/O and Organizational Behavior areas and I have three telephone interview set up for next week, so I guess I am just confused as to if they are just screening me to make sure there are no red flags before extending the offer, or if They are trying to interview 3+ phone for the offer I am hoping to recieve.
