I hope so too! I felt like I was really making waves with one of the professors on my interview panel--everything I said seemed to be resonating with him. The other professor present was fairly quiet, mostly just asking the questions. I felt like it went good, but not like fantastic! If those things can even ever feel like they've gone fantastically? I let me nervous laugh muscle its way into the conversation a few too many times. Good luck to you!

I had a Skype interview last week and one question that they asked that I found interesting was, "what was the last show you saw that had a profound effect on you?" It surprised me a little, but I thought it was a great question in that it gave me a chance to talk about art I like and demonstrate my style of critique/discussion. Other than that it was a very standard feeling interview. I was thankful I had prepared some questions in advance--definitely helped the conversation to feel more productive and two sided.

I haven't heard either way from Bard yet! Trying to decide if I should wait it out or contact their Admissions dept just to know.. I also interviewed w UT Austin last week and am waiting to hear a final decision from them sigh

I've only had one interview so far, but I looked through faculty work again, did a little extra research on one of the interviewers (we've been corresponding by email so I knew her name before the interview), and came up with a list of questions to ask. I felt fairly prepared, but I still stammered a lot for the first few minutes!

I'm also waiting on Bard (sculpture)! Their website says interviewees will be contacted some time this week.

So far I've been accepted into SAIC's Low-Res program and I have an interview scheduled with UT Austin this Saturday. Joined the forum because I wanted to know if anyone's heard from Bard? Their website says that they notify regarding interviews this week, but I haven't seen anything posted on here so far regarding any applicants being contacted!
