There are different plans out there and if you go to your state's marketplace and sign up you will be able to see them. You input your income there and it tells you if you get a tax credit. It's really easy
If I were you I wouldn't tell your job till 2 weeks or a month before. Also, you can get obamacare anyways, it doesn't matter if you are employed somewhere or not, and if you don't make a lot you will get a tax credit. For example, when my husband started a new job they didn't start his medical for a few months so we had it through the state.
So, I received the admittance letter from the DGS and it had my prospective student id number on it. So I when I saw it I told my husband how this number is wrong and my previous id numbers at other schools were amazing, easy to remember and this one just doesn't make any sense and it's probably a bad sign. He thought I was crazy.
Wanted to ask you guys what was the craziest thing you've said/thought during the application/admittance/decision process?
My dept in Davis gives the funding info after the recruitment weekend. I also emailed the program and asked to give me a general funding info, which they did.
Can maybe somebody recommend good dog friendly apartments in Davis to look at? We need 2 bedrooms...So far we found Greystone, Lakeshore and Eastlake as possible options.
