  1. Has any one else still not heard back about an interview? I applied for the clinical track and I've emailed two different emails, still havent heard! Im so over this.
  2. Thank you! Good luck on your interview
  3. Okay thanks! Did they email you as well?
  4. Me too!! I havent hear back from them So over this waiting game.
  5. Seems like were on the same route! I still haven not made a decision. I am so confused about what to do honestly, I just want to hear back from Hunter so I know all of my options. I'm waiting to hear back from NYU because I appealed for more scholarship money. I also applied to university of maryland because its in state for me so I'm still playing the waiting game. I keep trying to get advice about nyu. I spoke to someone who has a phd in clinical psych and she thinks that for the clinical social work field any degree is really enough and that I should focus on how much debt I am willing to have, but I really want to attend nyu Still not sure what to do.
  6. Hey! I was accepted into NYU silver, 2 year full time in January and they offered me $7,000. Its not much but my undergrad gpa is from Rutgers and only a 3.12, but I have a lot of experience. I worked as a teaching assistant to kids with severe Autism, was a behavior assistant in a school, and interned at a child therapeutic program where I worked with kids that have suffered from trauma and abuse so I honestly think thats why they offered me anything. I spoke to the financial advisor and he said I can appeal for more money so I wrote a long letter explaining why I would need more money and how involved I would be. He told me they're going to be looking at the appeals mid march so I was assume right now they are going through them. My housemates sister goes to NYU silver and her undergrad was basically a 4.0 and she was offered around 15 or 20k a year I cant remember which, but way more than me so I do think it has a lot to do with gpa. Hope this helps!
  7. Thank you so so much this is really helpful!
  8. How do you send an appeal form?? I was only offered $7,000/yr and theres no way I could afford it with just that.
  9. I spoke to a financial aid advisor from NYU and he said we wont hear until mid march.
  10. I applied to the full time MSW program so it may be different, but I still think they are just starting to review apps.
  11. I also applied to Hunter, but apparently they did not start reviewing applications until the deadline (Feb 1) and have so many to look over. I'm assuming we will not hear back from them for a bit because they do have to do the group interviews as well.
  12. Thank you again! I've been researching these programs for months and I know for a fact my top is NYU and then second would be either Hunter or Fordham, but finances are a huge issue. I am from Maryland and attended Rutgers so I've already taken out loans for being out of state. I haven't heard from FAFSA yet and need to make a decision about Rutgers and NYU by next Tuesday so I've been a bit nervous. I'm thinking of just putting down a deposit for NYU, to secure a spot. I just don't see how it can be affordable. So many decisions!
  13. Really? I only got the email saying its processed.
  14. Does anyone know when we would hear from FAFSA about financial aid packets?
