  1. My application says it was completed on January 15, which is just shy of 8 weeks ago. Wondering why I still haven't heard...
  2. Just got my rejection too. Kinda expected it and ok with it because I have some other great options. Good luck to everyone still waiting!
  3. Thanks! Considering Cal is my biggest reach school I'm just not getting my hopes up but congratulations! You've all accomplished a very big feat!
  4. In the same boat as @SDtoMPP no word so I'm kind of expecting the worst. Congrats to all of you who have gotten your acceptances and good luck to everyone still waiting it out!
  5. Congrats to you all! I still have yet to hear anything and now that people are getting acceptances I'm even more nervous that it will be a no...
  6. Can I just say how much I love this thread? All the feels... I got my first acceptance letter right after I finished working out. I was standing outside the gym waiting for my roommates to come out when I randomly decided to check my email. Wasn't expecting anything as it was a Sunday around 11am but sure enough in all caps was the subject line WELCOME TO ___! It was also my first Ivy acceptance which made it that much sweeter. I immediately started tearing up and called my mom who heard my sobs and said "What's wrong?!". Once I told her both her and my dad started crying. My roommates came out about 3 minutes later and gave me a big bear hug. Funny because 5 years ago I got my acceptance to my undergrad institution as I was about to leave to go to the gym so maybe I should turn into a temporary gym rat in the hopes of receiving more good news in the coming weeks. There is really no feeling like it. I too wish I could bottle it up and save it for a rainy day but man does it make all those long hours of studying and applying worth it. Congrats to everyone who has been getting acceptances!
  7. @ss312 Congrats! Did they email you? Or update your application portal? I'm still waiting on a decision from them...
  8. Oh wow thanks for the info @nuclearwonk. Do we think they will send them out over the span of a few days? It seems that was the pattern in the past.
  9. Also waiting on GSPP. From what I've read in previous years it seems that decisions start to trickle out the first Friday of March, i.e. March 4th this year but this is all speculation...
  10. I just got in as of yesterday and I'm highly considering it! Congrats to everyone who has been admitted and good luck to everyone who is still waiting
  11. @shrimps yeah I've found that too with Penn. I'm very much drawn to the social policy aspect but I worry about a one year program... and although it is Ivy League I have found myself wondering if it's better to attend a somewhat less prestigious school that has a stronger Public Policy program with a larger alumni base. I also haven't found much information on the program hardly anywhere which makes the decision more difficult.
  12. @shrimps I noticed you also got into Penn MSSP. Congrats! I'm curious what you think of the program? I also got into USC and UCLA (both for MPP) as of yesterday and I'm wondering how Penn compares?
  13. Congrats! Perhaps I will see you at Price next year.
  14. Applied to mainly MPP programs and so far have heard back from USC MPP (accepted with funding) Now I'm impatiently waiting for a few others but especially UCLA and Berkeley...
