Thanks. I have three little ones and was hoping to do it distance. I know dalhousie has a distance msw program but I live in ns and have heard employers don't give a lot of weight to that program.

No waterloo was the only one I applied to. Oh well. I'll try again next year! I also noticed yesterday Dalhousie is offering a certificate for mental health and addictions so maybe I'll work on that in the meantime.

Yea it was on quest. It must have been put in the system late yesterday as it has yesterday's date but I checked it around 7 eastern time.

So sad...I was denied to Waterloo :-(

I was really hoping to receive a response from Waterloo by now...haha its early March!!

I only just graduated with my BSW this summer so im defiantly lacking in the post bsw experience (although Ive worked in child welfare in a capacity other then as a social worker for the last few years). My average is 89% so hopefully that makes up for a bit of lack of experience lol. I applied to Waterloo only (defiantly regretting this decision now though). Im half thinking if I dont get in...I might try New England University. I have heard its clinical stream is good, its all distance, accepted by casw, and they are still accepting fall applications....but its super expensive!

Yes! Now that I found this forum I check it more often then quest/email! Like you, one minute I think I have a chance of acceptance then the next I question that. Ugh this is going to be the longest few weeks of my life! I am currently at a job I don't like but I'm waiting to take the next step until I know about my MSW....there's a lot on the line here lol

Thanks KatRousi! I have been checking every hour and considered calling today haha. I'm surprised they don't send decision information out sooner as many people have already recieved other acceptance letters (requiring students accept offers) so they could be losing potentially great students by being behind. Hopefully it's not to much longer!

Eeeek so exciting about Waterloo decisions! Its the only University I applied to and to be honest after reading about everyone's extensive experience im really nervous I wont get in. Ill let ya know if I hear anything!!

Did anyone on this thread apply to the University of Waterloo MSW program? The application deadline (to upload supporting documents) was December and I'm slowly getting very anxious and impatient.
