At the risk of stoking more Hunter hating, has anyone who was accepted there received their official letter? I'm anxious to take the next steps in the process but haven't received the letter in the mail. Also, I know Hunter doesn't offer much on their part in terms of funding and that it goes through FAFSA to determine aid, but as a general rule, do grad students qualify for PELL grants and NY State TAP?

I'm only not assuming rejection because I haven't seen anything about people receiving word of any kind from Rutgers. Their application deadline was also slightly later, so maybe that has something to do with it? Hoping they're just really slow.

The other schools I applied to were Bard and Hunter. Bard was a no and I am interviewing with Hunter March 12.

Anyone hear from Rutgers?

Received an invitation to interview at Hunter March 12, but wondering if I'm expected to bring in actual work (or some sort of hard copy of a portfolio) for the interview? That might be dumb question, but I'm just not sure. Reactions so far have ranged form "of course, dummy" to "no, that's very rare that they would expect that." Help!
Also received a rejection from Bard a week or so ago and still waiting to hear from Rutgers.

I don't think so. There aren't many schools that make people do that.
