The director emailed me back and said that they had let 2 students in and would only be letting in a few more. Like around 5 or 6 total for the English MA. She said they would reject the rest in the next week or two.

I've been following this forum pretty closely over the last few months (as I am sure we all have!) and I've heard back from all the schools I've applied to (fiction) except one...Alabama, and it's really starting to annoy me because I know they sent out acceptances back in February, and I know they've sent out 2 or 3 rounds of rejections at the beginning of the month, but my application status still just says "referred to department for review". I emailed a few days ago and have not gotten a response back. My application says the same thing.

Nope haven't heard. I actually just accepted Auburn instead; they offered me a fully funded tuition scholarship and a GTA position.

@Dakine, I've been accepted to Auburn for the MA program in literature but haven't heard a peep from Alabama yet.

They don't have a date on their website for when they might send back acceptances. Has anyone gotten one yet? Or do you know a time frame?

Lemans square is pretty cheap (550) a month and biking distance from campus, and Evans realty is a good one to check out for cheap prices.
