Did anyone here apply for the Weidenfeld scholarships? Has anyone heard from hem yet?

O wow, thats great, congrats. Did you apply for scholarships along with your application? Perhaps it was one of those? Alternatively, the application seems to indicate that you will automatically be considered for some scholarships- perhaps this may be that. You could consider asking the admissions team.

Congratulations to all that made it. Look forward to meeting you guys, hopefully, if all goes well. To those who didn't make it- its only the time that wasn't right. Something better is in store or this at a later point in time. it is disappointing, but often an opportunity even though one may not realise it at the time. its a pity we won't meet at Oxford, but its quite likely our paths will otherwise cross and I look forward to that.

Did you get nominated for a scholarship Dod BordBlergh? My acceptance letter set out a few scholarships I could apply to. Waiting to hear about the other scholarships I had already applied to at Oxford - the Weidefeld.

Magaa I believe they are. I contacted them to ask by when they would communicate, since I hoped to apply for a scholarship and they said today definitely.

Thanks a ton Good to hear about that. Most of my questions were general too. In the course of answering one of my general questions, I said something about financial regulation for micorfinance - and she asked about whether it might limit access to finance- not exactly an argument,but it seemed like we came from different ideological positions and she did not seem totally satisfied with my answer... Otherwise it seemed pretty decent- Why BSG, What future plans, tell us about an example of contributing to the community and what you learned from it, what can you contribute to the intl cohort at BSG, name a book that has challenged you thinking. What about you questions? What did they say?

Any further updates from interviewees here? Just had mine and was in a minor argument with the academic interviewer on a technical issue- did anyone else face that?

Another question - do all applicants in fact get interviewed??
