And no, I did not sign anything on the declaration of acceptance. I can't even find a place on it that asks for a signature.Pretty sure you have to do everything yourself after getting the scholarship. I get the feeling DAAD takes a very hands-off approach at this point. They make it exceedingly clear that they will not find you housing, so I don't think there's any assistance in enrollment.
I did everything (accomodation, visa) by myself. Though, I got told just now (few days before traveling) to check the international office of the University i will go. They have the assistance for you for everything. They are being very kind to me and offering me help with anything else I need (little late! but always thankful :p)

im still waiting for my insurance documents.
(I emailed my person in charge and she told me that it's sufficient just to upload the acceptance letter, but haven't heard from them yet)

I didnt sign anything, just uploaded! after that I got a confirmation mail via portal that they got my acceptance, once u got that, you will receive the inssurance documents!

took 4 days for me! you need to check "insurance" --> "messages" but you anyways get a notification on your email like the others msgs in the portal

By the way, anyone know whether we have to sign anything in the declaration of acceptance or not? I don't see any space for signature and date, so, I'm a bit confused. Thank you very much in advance.
I only uploaded it, few hours/day after you get a notification on your portal saying they received the documents!

They will tell you they received the declaration of acceptance through another msg on the portal, few days later you will get another mail that tells you to go on the "innsurance tag" cause you got a msg there, there will be your Innsurance documents that you must carry with you. You should get into the visa if you need one, mine went very fast for being a DAAD scholarship

you will get a mail saying you got a msg on your portal, which has all your Scholarship documents!

There were 2 letters, one saying congratulations u got the scholarship, attached are these documents (and the list of documents) and a "Letter of award" that says the name of the scholarship/target institution/monthly payment/travel allowance/insurance benefits, but... there was nothing related to why they chose my project

I got the email 2 or 3 days later, you will get the msg in the portal! after you need to submit the "declaration of aceptance" but all the instructions are gonna be there in your email! dont worry!! and celebrate already!

I had a notification on my email that i had a new msg on the portal
and after everything i received it was notificated on my mail first
My status went from selection made that lasted like 1 week, then empty for a few hours, then funding!

i had "selection made" for a week and a half, after it went empty for a few hours...... and then "funding" appeared. Im still nervous cause i got no mail from DAAD Bonn

Haha! Well I hope you hear soon! I was on twitter to see if DAAD updated and someone (from I think Ohio) got a letter of acceptance in the mail, but they could have been an undergrad, which I think has a different process.

Yes, I got the scholarship back then and the email took 2 or 3 days until i got the letter of award and declaration of acceptance that you need to upload after!
