  1. I just declined my offer to Laurier (whelp), so those of you on the wait list, a spot just opened up!
  2. Thanks so much for the insight! Hearing about the lack of funding was a little intimidating, but it's nice to hear that there are options.
  3. Hey everyone, If you are, or if you could, choose between Laurier and York: which one would you choose, and why? Sending continued luck to those still waiting! Chels
  4. Hey there, How does one find out about Laurier's funding? I can't seem to find anything on the Laurier website, whereas York's information is readily available. Does anyone know anything about Laurier's funding structure? Thanks, Chelsea
  5. No trouble at all! MyFile was updated at 10am and I got an acceptance package by e-mail at around 1pm.
  6. I think it might have been my lived experience and radical politics that got them interested in me. I wrote a really unconventional letter of intent. I think my GPA was an A- or something close to that. I do have loads of volunteer and work experience in social services and activism, and have been working in the field full time for a hospital for over a year. Let me know if you have any more questions- I would be happy to help in any way that I can. Don't give up hope!
  7. Sure, I can share some experience! It might help me if I had some more specific questions, though.
  8. It was for the two year program. I received an offer of admission by e-mail, and MyFile was also updated. Good luck to all who applied!
  9. Hey! I just called York, and they said that results for the two year program will come out in April. Waitlisted students can get results as late as August. It will show up in MyFile first . Good luck!
  10. Has anyone heard from any Ontario two-year programs other than UofT? Waiting is awful!
