    For those of you that have been accepted to Laurier’s 2 year msw, what was the deadline you have to accept or decline the offer? Also, who will be accepting and declining their offer? Just want to have an idea if their will be any movement for those on the waitlist.

    Out of curiosity, how many of you have been accepted to lauriers 2 year MSW and will be decling? ? I just want to know if their will be movement on the waitlist. According to the email I received it was stated that:

     

    “Our MSW 2 year full-time program is currently over-enrolled and we are unable to predict if there will be any movement to the wait list this year.

     Please be advised that we have selected approx. 40 applicants for the wait list. We ask that you do not contact us in regards to your “position” on the wait list.  Should we need to select candidates from the wait list, the committee will review applications at that time.”

    Almost 2 days after getting my acceptance package for UofT's 2 Year MSW, and my ACORN status has not changed. I'm thinking its because my previous registration status is "financially cancelled" while being listed as a non-degree student - I graduated 2 years ago, so I don't know why it says that :P . Although my SGS portal does day "Decision Made".

    I went during my lunch break at work and dropped off all of my signature papers, i was pretty giddy walking into the building yesterday.

    I'm declining my offer to the 2 year MSW program at Laurier, hopefully it will be good news for you :) .

    I really hope so! Fingers crossed

    On another note, everyone at work like me, how are you concentrating?! I’m having a very hard time!

    I’m having a really hard time concentrating. I’m more focused on checking my email, loris and this forum. My mind has been all over the place

    I’m really hoping we still have a chance. From the looks of it not too many have been accepted, well at least I know of the handful that have posted on this forum.

    Okay offically freaking out because I applied to both the on-campus and online program at Laurier and never got an email asking which program I prefer to be in. Sooo by the looks of it im either only admitted to the online program or nothing.... 

    I’ve only applied to in class and I never heard anything back either. I’m freaking out!

    my GPA is a 3.6 or 3.7 depending on what scale you look at. Most of my experience combines social justice and at-risk youth with the arts (visual, theatre, creative writing, etc.). my application mostly focused on wanting to build artistic and social justice minded communities :)
