  1. I just (April 29) got into NPSIA's International Organizations and Global Public Policy! Wasn't waitlisted but changed my application from MA-JD to MA last minute.
  2. Hi everyone- just wondering if the deadline for the first round offers is coming up soon for NPSIA? I switched from the MA-JD to the MA on its own so hopefully I get in on the second round!
  3. My status hasn't yet reflected the e-mail I received... I'm also unsure as to whether I should end up taking the econ courses when I'm placed on hold. The only reason I'd be taking them is for the NPSIA MA. ~$1200 seems like a lot to gamble with if I could end up getting rejected in the summer . I'd also have to quit my job.
  4. For those accepted into NPSIA, do you have a 21 day period to accept/decline your offer of admission?
  5. Why wouldn't they just say "waitlisted" then? I wonder how many people will end up being on hold.
  6. Did you fulfill the economics prerequisites? I wonder if that's why they can't grant admission. Or is hold synonymous with waitlisted?
  7. Just received this e-mail: Dear Applicant, I am emailing to inform you that your application to the MA International Affairs as part of the MA-JD program has been placed on hold. If you are currently in a program or taking any courses, please upload your final Winter Term grades to your application once you have received them. Your file will be re-reviewed over the next few months and a final decision will be made by the end of August 2016. I'll be taking both prerequisites of econ, maybe that's why it's on hold?
  8. Has anyone else here applied for the joint MA-JD program? Or applied without fulfilling the econ prerequisite? Just wondering if that may explain why I never received Friday's e-mail and haven't received any information today... Also for those accepted, did your last name follow the prediction of being a letter in the first 1/2 of the alphabet?
