I am still waiting on my letter, is April 7th the last day those offered admission have to accept? I was also wondering if the letter indicated the waitlist ranking at all?

Thanks! The letter was dated April 7th and I received it by email a few days after. The letter particularly mentions that you cannot inquire about your rank. Yes, the last day to accept/decline for those offered admission was around that date.

Last year, the interviews for Ottawa were around March 15th! This year is my second attempt and hopefully the last one

Hello everyone! I thought I should start a new conversation for this year. I hope everyone's applications went well!
I was on the waitlist for UBC last year, and I am applying again this year with a lot more experience & 1-year MA in Linguistics involving a research project in Acoustics. I really hope I get in this time!
Anyone else in re-applying?

I learned by email yesterday that I was on the waitlist for UBC. I got rejected from uOttawa and Dal. Since I'm from Ottawa, this is not what I expected! Congratulations to everyone who got in

I received an acceptance offer from UBC last week! This was my third time applying (I got waitlisted twice). Do not give up!
