Hey all! I was wondering if there is a DAAD group for Germany on Facebook? I can't find one on the search, but if there isn't one, would anyone be interested in starting it? Would be nice to see who will be in the same area etc. Let me know!

Hi again! Congrats to everyone. I got the research grant to get my MA (I'm from the US) and I'm kind of shocked at how little other info I have been provided. I got the letter of acceptance, and uploaded that to the portal. Then, I got the insurance information. Now I haven't heard anything in a while. Am I missing something? I feel like I should be doing something else? If anyone else is clear on next steps, let me know!

For those of you who got the award, what did you do after you got all the scholarship documents? I've just uploaded my declaration of acceptance, but I'm not sure if there is something else I have to do? Best of luck to everyone waiting!

Hey guys! I got my confirmation e-mail a couple days later to check the portal, like you said :)! I haven't been accepted to my MA program yet, so now I'm of course worried about getting the grant, but not the uni acceptance.. Does anybody know if we can use the grant for a different program if we don't get into our top choice? I mean, why else did we have to tell them what three programs we were applying to, right? At the same time, the offer letter has my top choice on it, and says the grant is valid for that institution. If anyone has insight on this, it's appreciated.

My status also says, "funding" now! I want to celebrate, but I still haven't received an e-mail confirmation, so I'm a little hesitant....

Hi Pup, I logged in, and it's still blank. This is driving me nuts. Did you hear back from Fulbright? It's a great program; I was an ETA a couple years ago and had some great experiences. Good luck!
