Did anyone hear back yet? \ so anxious. I assume they'll be sending out meeting requests, interviews if not acceptances this coming 2 weeks.

I asked them a question and they responded with “all the positions have been filled”.

Thanks, it's a hard pill to swallow not being interviewed, and I probably won't fathom it until I receive a letter

but there are some dept that dont do interviews but most do...

i hope not but it aint bright , at this rate interviews should be done and this week or next they send an email to their first choice and if they say no then they'll contact the second choice who they probably have interviewed as well

i think we've been rejected, theres always next year

I’m looking at old posts and people were interviewed last year around a week / 2 week’s ago meaning if you haven’t heard anything it’s best to look for other options. But that being said some lucky folks may get in without an insternship but it’s very competitive and even if you’ve graduated from Harvard or Yale with a 4.0 GPA and had internships at other museums, it’s a difficult to get accepted. I remember meeting people from the Met including the current director of digital who years before couldn’t get an internship at the Met so don’t give up, I know I won’t ! There’s always next year and that means 12more months to polish yourself up !!

In regards to Whitney I applied last year late in aug and was accepted for internship in sept but rejected it due to conflict i applied this year to moma 12 month HAVENT HEARD ANYTHING! Not even an automated reply so I’m freaking out I’m giving till first of aug then I’ll apply to all my second options but i really want this. Please let me know if anyone heard back so I know ... someone was saying they didn’t send rejection letters last year so IF ANYONE HEARD BACK PLEASE LET ME KNOW IM SO ANXTIOUS

Hey! Yes, I'm in the main building. Since April 8 is the deadline for me to respond to them they might not send out till then. Also, I know each department has a different the application notification date and I may have received mine earlier simply because I applied to a smaller dept. Don't lose hope. And Good luck <3

In my email they didn't say April 4th they wrote early April I should expect a reply. They gave an acceptance deadline for the 8th so they might not send rejection letters to people who they might contact for the position in case someone backs out. Im only giving hypotheticals because I don't know. But I would assume if you didn't get a rejection letter you're probably going to get accepted. In my accordance letter there were multiple documents attached so that could be why they are taking their time getting back to people who are accepted

Applied for a couple including the summer and 12 month, I heard back from summer MUSE internship. Have yet to hear back from the 12 month internship but I'm assuming since I got into the summer that means I didn't get into the 12 month
