I've also applied for this scholarship for master's program. I had the "preselection made" status for about 3 weeks after the interview. Then it changed to "selection made".

One thing to say, I applied for the scholarship together with my twin sister, and both of us got invited to the interview part together. In addition, our academic background, research experience and grades are similar. I think our performances on interview was the reason of why I got the scholarship, and my sister didn't. Hence, my advice is to keep improving interview skills. Good luck in future

When I called my local DAAD office, they told me that they started to give the results for the intensive language courses and research grants, but I think the results arrive differently for different countries. But the people in the local office don't know the results for graduate study scholarships, as this program is coordinated by Bonn directly. And today my status went blank, I guess it's a good sign.

I wanted to ask whether someone had a similar situation. 2 weeks I got an email about registration confirmation for intensive language course, although I applied only for the graduate study scholarship. The people in the office said that I shouldn't worry, that letter indicates that I'm getting the scholarship and I should wait for the message on the portal about the scholarship, but I haven't received any acceptance letter yet. my status says selection made, and my subject is engineering
