  1. http://ro.umich.edu/...ll.php#Rack_PPS I think that for non-Michigan residents, it's $17,825 for a full year? (At least, that's what I hope.)
  2. The email I got said, "Information about fellowships and financial aid will be forthcoming within the next week."
  3. Just got my admittance email!
  4. Is there a general expectation for how much of your tuition should be covered in an MPP program? It seems like maybe people have had offers to have half through all of their tuition covered--I've gotten something like 30-40% so far. Is it better to wait until next year to get more funding (and boost my application), or should I just take what I can get?
  5. I'm starting to think they're not going to send anything out today--here's to another agonizing weekend?
  6. Hi! I applied to all MPP programs--Sanford (accepted), GPPI (accepted), GSPP (rejected), and Michigan and HKS (still waiting)--what about you?

  7. Not a peep--I had been reading this thread and had completely given up hope!
  8. Finally heard something from GPPI--got in! But no word on scholarships or anything. :/
  9. Whew--hopefully that means there's still hope for some of us who haven't gotten anything yet?
  10. What did it say? I'm in Chicago too, and still, nada.
  11. Ah! Do you know if it's going to be via email or snail mail?
  12. I just got my aid offer--$10k fellowship and $4k assistantship. I was reading through past posts, and it seems that Sanford is pretty good at coming back with better offers if you tell them it's hard to afford. Does anyone have any feedback on how I could proceed with this?
  13. Sorry to hear that, but good luck with your other applications!
  14. Nothing in Chicago either...
  15. Rushed home from work to check my mail--still nada. GSPP needs to upgrade to the 21st century and do emails so I can stop having a heart attack every time I'm about to open my mailbox. Here hoping to something by tomorrow? And does anyone know if it's actually true that they send out acceptances and rejections at the same time?
  16. To me it seemed like there was an emphasis on social justice type issues. In general though, it seems that work experience probably carries the heaviest weight.
  17. True, but that doesn't mean they only take 80 people. I think their acceptance rate is supposed to be somewhere around 25-30%.
  18. I wouldn't worry--we're not supposed to hear anything from Harvard until April (mid-April, officially), and I believe that we should be hearing from Berkeley pretty soon, if you've followed the GSPP thread. Supposedly snail mails went out this week.
  19. I'm in Chicago, radio silence still...thinking about how quickly I can rush home today.
  20. I got my acceptance notification on Tuesday, March 1--I would agree that there's still hope.
  21. Congrats! Ah, I've been on edge--still nothing for me. Did you get via email or snail mail?
  22. I actually just emailed them:
