I still haven't heard back from two of the schools I interviewed at I emailed them and they said they were still undecided about my application. Hopefully I'll hear back this week since I want to make a decision soon. Have any of you decided where you're going :)?

Did anyone else have four reviewers on theirs? I was awarded an honorable mention with: VG/VG VG/VG G/G VG/E. They really liked my personal statement and research proposal except for the third reviewer who seemed to have a background in my research topic and was very nitpicky about it. They gave me a lot of good feedback for what to improve next year since I'm a senior now (mostly that I would benefit from having a publication and continuing my outreach in graduate school). They also gave a lot of nice comments about my ability to be a strong candidate for graduate school and a leader in STEM so that was really nice!!

Thank you! I was being considered for an RA. I emailed Hong so I'll wait for her to respond. On another note, has anyone heard back from Penn after the interview?

So if I haven't heard back from Hopkins after the interview should I be concerned?

I got that email the day after I submitted it, but maybe they're trying to let you know they didn't forget you haha.

I am going to the Columbia interview on 2/17 but I'm not sure if they're having another interview weekend.

I received an email from the graduate assistant. I was surprised to hear back so soon considering I submitted the application on the last day. But I met a bunch of the professors and students at a conference and my PI went to grad school with one of the professors I am interested in working with so I feel like that may have had something to do with it. I am unsure if they have sent out all their acceptances.

I got accepted last Monday and invited to their visitation days in March.

I got an invite to the recruitment weekend at UCSD today. From the way I understood it, you have a pretty good chance of getting admitted after that so it's not really an interview. But they said to contact professors we are interested in working with.

So I saw some people got interview invites from UCSD and JHU today. Anyone here get one? And what's your intended specialization?

I don't think I'll get one either :-( but I just had a mini heart-attack because I received an email from them asking if I want to move my application over to the MEng or MTM program if I don't get invited to the PhD program.

Anyone else get a surge in anonymous LinkedIn profile views? My anxiety is going to be through the roof this entire month while we wait to hear back.
