  1. Wow really? I was hoping they would match another offer, but I guess that probably will not happen then. Thank you for sharing the info!
  2. Hope there are a ton of folks like you! Ironically, I am most likely going to GSPP now that I am wait listed at WWS, ha!
  3. Okay so I've been digging through GradCafe and it looks like WWS has a 68% yield (percentage of people who accept their offer of admission) according to their annual report: http://wws.princeton.edu/about-wws/wws-annual-report So I am just crossing my fingers that a lot of people with a similar profile to mine defers or declines.
  4. My thoughts exactly. Though I will keep my place on the wait list, I definitely am not getting my hopes up.
  5. Just got waitlisted. Anyone know anything about WWS waitlist? How big it is, how likely it is to get off?
  6. Crossing my fingers for today! But after that phone call with @Nasty Woman I wouldn't be surprised if they just wait till next week.
  7. Thank you for calling! I really hope it's tomorrow then, not next week.
  8. I hope so! I just want to be put out of my misery!
  9. I really hope it comes out today! After being rejected from HKS, I have no hope for WWS and I just want to move on!
  10. Rejected!
  11. Thanks for the tip! That co-op looks amazing. I'm sure there's a lengthy waitlist though.
  12. Losing hope for today. I feel like it'll be tomorrow too.
  13. @mfmpp For an out of state student, how much debt do you think students will be in if they have a GSI / GSR position? I'm basing my guesses off the fee remissions site (http://grad.berkeley.edu/financial/fee-remissions/) and the fee schedule site (http://registrar.berkeley.edu/tuition-fees-residency/tuition-fees/fee-schedule#pubpol) but it seems like with even partial fee remission, tuition is semi-affordable.
  14. I got accepted with no fellowship too. Goldman is definitely one of my top choices, so I am seriously considering it, especially with the opportunity to work for partial fee remission.
  15. Waiiiiiiiiit how did you find out?!
  16. Accepted with 26k fellowship + 4k assistantship. So glad we heard today!
  17. I am hoping this week. But on their website it does say decisions by March 15. I really hope it's not that late!
  18. I'm losing hope for today. I am hoping for tomorrow.
  19. This wait is killing me!!!
  20. I'm done with all this waiting too. I just want to know. I hope it comes out early this week. Also, RE: funding-- I heard they are selective with their merit scholarships but if you do get them, they are quite generous. Otherwise, since it is a state school, it is not nearly as expensive as its private counterparts (e.g. HKS). Especially with in-state tuition in your second year.
  21. Well on their admissions site it says Notification by March 15. Hopefully we do not have to wait that long, but that is what it says. http://wws.princeton.edu/admissions/mpa/application
  22. Still waiting to hear back from other schools, but so far I got into Heinz with most of it covered, so Georgetown is out now haha!
  23. I heard it was generous as well, especially if you're Americorps (they are guaranteed 14k + fellowship if accepted). I really hope we find out early next week!
  24. Mine changed too. I really hope it comes out early this week. I applied for MPP.
  25. Applied: Harvard Kennedy, Princeton WWS, Berkeley Goldman, Georgetown McCourt, Carnegie Mellon Heinz, and Duke Sanford Hopes: I get into one of the schools with 75%+ funding Dreams: To be accepted to WWS, but who is not dreaming of that? Guesses: Well so far, I got accepted to McCourt and Heinz, the latter with most of it funded. I am hoping to be accepted to WWS still, but again it's a pipe dream. Glad I got at least one acceptance with enough funding.
