Based on the results page, the only indication is around the end of February/beginning of March. I don't know anyone else who applied, so I'm not really sure :-/ You can email them and ask when you could expect to hear something/when they will meet. Seems as though many people have done that for other places.

Yeah, I got my email from Cincinnati on Tuesday and had a mini heart attack before I realized it was nothing lol. I'm hoping the connection will help! If I don't hear from anywhere before February I might actually lose my mind, haha (but like seriously). This waiting is horrendous!

I don't know if this makes me less anxious or more anxious lol. I got an email from Cincy today and almost had a heart attack - then saw it was just the "your application is complete" email. I don't know if I can handle this!

I don't know for sure, but I believe both schools only do one round of acceptances. At least that's how both made it sound when I talked with the grad directors (plus the past couple of years' forums and results page seem to suggest that no one got in off the waitlist). Now whether those acceptances all go out at the same time, I have no clue, but I would think so.

I saw that their deadline was pretty early - I know my friend was rushing to finish her application on time as well. Best of luck to you, though! I'll be watching for updates from you!

Lol I told myself I wasn't going to check this page until I got accepted somewhere... I think I've checked it several times an hour, even over the weekend!! Oh well. Did anyone apply to George Mason? A girl in my program wanted me to keep her in the loop if I heard anything here. I know they tend to be mid- to late-January as well.

I'm just working at the university where I did my Master's, with my professor who has employed me since I began the program. My first year I worked as a TA, and then I was an RA for the rest of my time. She wanted to help keep me employed as long as she could before I (hopefully) started a PhD. We're evaluating a program that provides housing and services to homeless individuals in our city. My professor is also a Cincinnati alum, and she was there visiting last week or the week before. They told her we should know by the end of January. Looks like it could be 20-something, maybe the last Friday of the month, since that looks to be when they found out last year (so maybe only 10 more days?!). She also told me if I hadn't heard anything from them by next week, she'd email them and ask when they'd be meeting. I'll keep you informed! I really hope the applicant weekend isn't at the end of February, though, I'm going to be on a family vacation - noooo! I saw on the results page someone was informed of an acceptance to MSU on the same day as Cincinnati, so I'm hoping they'll both be end of January! I don't know if I can wait til mid-February!

I think this forum has been more active in the last 3 days than in the whole time since it was created! lol. I keep checking the results page, actually bookmarked it, even though I know nothing is going to happen for my schools until at least next week. The struggle is seriously real!

I can't believe I'm about to say this, but I envy you for being in school right now! I graduated in December, so I'm just working as a research assistant right now, and believe me it's not enough to keep me preoccupied!!

Congrats @HerbieLove & @warwick on Albany! What a relief it must be knowing you'll get to go somewhere (and a great program at that)! @HerbieLove I am going insane already with this wait, but I keep trying to just focus on counting down the days until January 31st since we'll hopefully know by then! (It's not helping any with the anxiety, though, I'll admit!)

No interviews for Cincy, just straight acceptances. Should be sent out by the end of the month, too! (According to the grad director.)

I saw on the results page that someone was accepted to Albany - congrats to whoever that was!

@AspiringScholar17 I think it seems natural that so many of us would be applying to similar schools (including Cincy). Remember, we could all very well be offered acceptance to any of these schools! It's something like 40-50 apply and 15-20 are offered acceptance. I have so much faith that each and every one of us will end up at the program we are supposed to be in (...assuming I get into SOMEwhere ;)). I think at the end of the day, you choose the best funding that also seems to be the best fit, wherever it may be. I chose the risky move of only applying to three schools. I had to be strategic about where I applied, because I could only afford to apply to a few and my boyfriend will be moving with me, so I had to keep him in mind (I'll admit - he's the only reason I didn't apply to a few places, such as UMSL and Northeastern). I am still a bit worried that I may have shot myself in the foot by not applying to more. Regardless, I hope the best for you all - we could all easily get in where we want without taking spots away from each other. I wish you all well during these next few weeks especially, Xx

All three of my applications are due tomorrow; my part is done and has been for awhile, but one of my recommenders is dragging her feet so I'm getting anxious! I ended up applying to Cincinnati, MSU, and Nebraska at Omaha. My mentor, who is a Cincinnati alum, was there last week and they told her acceptances should be sent out by the end of January (don't know if that eases or intensifies the nerves!!). Based on the results search here, MSU generally sends out acceptances at the end of January/beginning of February, too. This waiting game is awful!! I just want us all to go where we want

@AspiringScholar17 I know Cincinnati & MSU don't have interviews prior to acceptance (thankfully! I'm not sure I could handle that). They both have the recruitment weekend, but it doesn't change whether you're accepted or not. (At least that's how it's been in the past and what they said when I spoke with them.) I've looked through the results section here and for these two, it seems they typically notify accepted students around the end of January/early February. Just a month or so to go! I'm waiting on Cincinnati, MSU, and Nebraska at Omaha. Best of luck to you all! I can't wait to see where we all end up!

Happy to report that I passed my thesis defense and can actually finish my applications now! I hope the season is treating you all similarly!
