So I have been accepted to U of T (OMG) and waitlisted for Mac and Western, and the dates to hear back from those two are after the response date for toronto. I know it sounds silly, but if I were to provisionally accept at Toronto and thus remain on the waitlist for the other two, that still counts right? As in, Toronto can't change their mind about me just because it's not a firm acceptance? lol I would never want to jeopardize any chance I have!

I'm in the exact same boat.. So thrilled but also wish we found out sooner about Mac and Western. I have heard of people accepting an offer provisionally and then changing it after being accepted off a wait list, but I feel nervous about the whole thing!

I felt the same! My sGPA is 3.78 so I really wasn't feeling confident that it was competitive enough. But getting an interview at McMaster definitely gave me some assurance that I at least have a shot, because they said only 125 people of 430 were interviewed and that means we must have had solid GPA's!

Same!!! This is such a great feeling, I had completely convinced myself it wasn't happening.

Just wondering where you got the interview request date? I had been looking for it but didn't see any info on the McMaster website! But if that's right it's great news, definitely sooner than I expected

Hey SLPright, Since you clearly have experience in writing multiple statements of intent, I just wanted to ask if you have any tips? I have written both of mine and edited them a thousand times but I'm still not sure that I've written what they're looking for. Beyond answering the questions they ask, is there anything specific I should try to include? Thanks!

@Bananis I also had to do a transcript request for an out of province school and at first I was so confused, but the transcript request page on ORPAS is only for Ontario schools! Otherwise, you have to request the transcript directly from the school and have them send it to ORPAS

Has anyone else submitted a request form for a course to be used as a prerequisite at U of T? I submitted it almost a month ago and am surprised that it is taking so long for them to get back to me

Question for everyone... I have emailed a professor from last year for a reference, and it has been 13 days (!!) and she hasn't gotten back to me. Can I assume she isn't interested, or is it appropriate to send a follow up email?
