  1. Hello, My name is Bison Chemist and I am a chemistry student at Harding University. I am posting as to seek advice as to how I can prepare myself to apply for graduate studies in chemistry. I plan on graduating in the winter of 2018 (3 years from now) and would like to enroll in a program immediately after graduating. The main reason I am posting is because I currently have a 3.38 and I am currently in organic chemistry. I am expecting a decline in my GPA. Im a bad test taker but I do decently with class discussions and problem solving. I hope to maintain at least a 3.00 GPA but it could possibly be lower, and have three years research experience (every semester and summer programs) by the time I graduate. What can I do to either get through my classes, find a way around my lower scores, or should I simply reevaluate my priorities. Specification; the current research I am working on is water analysis, checking a local creek for pharmaceutical contaminants
